Don Farr Moving and Storage

In 1982, Don Fix was being contracted for work at Miller’s Furniture, in Pittsburgh, PA. When this company closed, they sold their 14’ Ford F-600 to Don and he began this small company with that truck and used his own 600 square foot garage at home for storage. Subsequently, he named it Don Farr Moving and Storage. This company grew slowly to four trucks (24 ft. box trucks) and a crew of 20 employees.
